JB Tax and Accounting of Wisconsin, Inc. was founded in 2021, but our roots go back much further. Originally known as Stein’s Tax Service—an institution serving the greater Milwaukee area since the 1950s—we carry forward a proud legacy of personal, reliable tax support for our community.

After decades of service and change, we decided to begin a new chapter as a father-and-son team. JB stands for “Jaybird,” a nickname Lawrence affectionately used for Jeff growing up. Together, we launched JB Tax and Accounting with the same commitment to quality and integrity that defined Stein’s, but with a fresh, modern approach
